MESUT OZIL has reportedly signed a new
mega-contract at Arsenal which will see him wear his favoured
number 10 shirt, according to reports.
The German’s future had been in doubt with after delaying talks to extend his deal which expired in
the summer of 2018 which has kept arsenal faithful anxious.
But according to German publication bild and sun uk, Ozil has
put speculation over his future to bed by penning a lucrative long-term
contract although it is unclear how long for.
This has come as a great relief for arsene wenger and arsenal
fc, because the german has been a wonderful player for arsenal in recent times
The 27-year-old was previously earning in the region of a
staggering £140,000-a-week but it is believed his wage has further
increased making him the highest paid player at the club.
Ozil will also be
handed the number 10 shirt after Jack Wilshere left for Bournemouth on a
season-long loan.
