Hull manager Steve Bruce is expected to make wholesale changes after the Europa League play-off first leg against Lokeren. Yannick Sagbo serves the second and final game of a domestic ban, while Robert Snodgrass (knee) is a long-term absentee.
Stoke will be without Stephen Ireland after the midfielder sustained a chest injury in training. Defender Robert Huth is expected to overcome a slight knee problem. Boss Mark Hughes is weighing up whether to hand loan signing Victor Moses a debut. Defender Geoff Cameron and striker Peter Odemwingie are poised to come into the squad after missing last weekend following their World Cup exploits.

Reds winger Lazar Markovic and defender Alberto Moreno are in line for debuts but midfielder Adam Lallana is not ready as his rehabilitation from a knee injury nears a conclusion, Jose Enrique will be assessed but Daniel Agger, Jon Flanagan and Oussama Assaidi are out.
