PAPER REVIEW AND GOSSPIS 1/11/2016

Soccersnipers brings you  daily paper review and juicy gossips

Chelsea are willing to let Cesc Fàbregas go out on loan in January and may even subsidise his wages to give Antonio Conte the best chance of bringing in another midfield player. The World Cup winner has started only one Premier League match this season and has little prospect of being given extended game time. (The Times)
Branislav Ivanovic has emerged as a potential target for Crystal Palace. The Chelsea right-back, 32, is out of contract at the end of the season and has seen the Blues’ fortunes improve without him in the starting line-up. (Daily Mirror)
Sven Goran Eriksson insists he won’t make a move to bring Wayne Rooney to China. The ex-England boss - now in charge of Shanghai SIPG - was linked with a bid for the struggling Manchester United star. But Eriksson, who gave Rooney, 31, his Three Lions debut, insists he  has “zero” chance of teaming up with him. (The Sun)
Jesse Lingard is set to double his wages to £60,000 per week with a new four-year Manchester United deal. The England international is also in line for a new deal with  sportswear giants Adidas worth a seven-figure sum. (Daily Mail)
Manchester United target Goncalo Guedes insists he wants to stay at Benfica until the end of the season. (Daily Star)
Lionel Messi will sign a new Barcelona contract ‘in the next couple of months’, the club’s president Josep Maria Bartomeu says. Bartomeu also admits he is eager to see Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola back at the Nou Camp one day. (Daily Telegraph)
Lyon are set to frustrate West Ham’s bid to solve their striker crisis in January by offering Alexandre Lacazette a new deal. The 25-year-old marksman rejected the Irons during the summer but West Ham are exploring all options with the club struggling for goals. However, Lyon will fight to keep Lacazette. (Daily Mirror)
Stoke boss Mark Hughes has insisted that Switzerland ace Xherdan Shaqiri is going nowhere. The Potters’ £12million recruit from Inter Milan has been linked with a return to Italy. (Daily Mirror)
Mauricio Pochettino is still interested in Real Madrid star Isco despite the Spaniard’s recent run in the side. The 24-year-old midfield playmaker has started five of the last six games for the Champions League holders since complaining of a lack of first-team action earlier in the season. He has yet, however, to receive a new contract and Spurs are lining up a January loan move. (Daily Mirror)
Sunderland have made a number of staff redundant — sparking fears they are already preparing for relegation with the season less than three months old. The workers, based on the administration side at the Stadium of Light, have been given their marching orders. While there is no official confirmation that cost-cutting measures have begun due to the club accepting they will drop out of the Premier League, staff fear that is the case. (Daily Mail)
