Mourinho went for a draw as his boys
played a goalless draw with Liverpool at Anfield .
Manchester united started on a bright
note tracking all Liverpool movement and suspending the ball within Liverpool goal
area, this continued till 25mins of the
first half and later gradually Liverpool began to pass the ball better and was
moving a bit into the United`s half but
were not of any threat to united.
The second half was all Liverpool but
United was very organized in keeping Liverpool at bay.
Mourinho set up United team to be
defensive and compact in his usual way to get at least a draw(bus parking)
United had a chance in the second
half when world record signing Paul Pogba displayed some nice skill and crossed
the ball to Zlat who headed wide and Liverpool also had a lethal shot from Coutinho
and Emre saved graciously by De Gea.
The
high profile game ended goalless.
