Chelsea have joined Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United in their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to the Metro.

Fabregas has apparently been told he can leave Barcelona as they seek some transfer funds to buy new players in a big summer overhaul at the Nou Camp.
The Spanish midfielder joined Barcelona from Arsenal a couple of years ago but doesn’t seem to have been welcomed extremely well and his time at the club now seems to be over.
Manchester United and Arsenal are big admirers of his talents and are monitoring his situation in Spain, but it is also revealed now that Chelsea are keeping an eye on Fabregas.
Jose Mourinho is after a midfielder as it looks like Frank Lampard is set to leave while John Obi Mikel could leave for Serie A, leaving him light in central areas.
Mourinho is reportedly weighing up his opening bid for Fabregas, but it’s thought he won’t spend more than around £25 million on the Spaniard.
Mourinho looks set for a busy summer with Chelsea already agreeing to spend £32m on Diego Costa, while Remy Cabella remains a target, along with another full-back.
