Elderson Echiejile and Ahmed Musa did not train with the rest of the squad on Thursday as Nigeria continued preparations for Saturday's meeting with the USA.
Echiejile, who had a scan on Thursday, did not even join the rest of the team on the training ground.
Instead, he remained at the hotel awaiting his scan result.
Winger Musa, nursing a thigh strain, spent the afternoon walking around the grounds with the physiotherapist.
The rest of the squad trained normally, and Stephen Keshi is convinced his boys will be ready for the USA.
"It was a good session, we are happy with the way the boys are taking it and we will be ready for the USA," he told KickOffNigeria.com.
Kick-off for the match is 6:00pm local time, which is 11pm Nigeria time.
