MARSEILLE GO FIVE POINTS CLEAR

Andre-Pierre Gignac celebrates his late winning goal for Marseille

A review of the weekend's action so far in the French Ligue 1, as Marseille down Caen and move five points clear.

Andre-Pierre Gignac struck a stoppage-time winner as Marseille moved five points clear at the Ligue 1 summit on Saturday with a 2-1 victory a tCaen.
The game had looked to be heading towards a draw when Yrondu Musavu-King scored for the visitors in the 84th minute, cancelling out Alaixys Romao's effort 10 minutes earlier.
But Gignac had the final word, lashing into the top corner in the 93rd minute to give OM a healthy advantage over their nearest challengers.
Bordeaux opened the door for Marseille to open up that large points cushion by going down 1-0 at Reims on Friday night.
Lorient ended a four-game losing streak as a couple of second-half goals saw them secure a 2-0 victory at Bastia on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, Lorient took the lead shortly after the restart when a Jordan Ayew volley was deflected into his own goal by Bastia defender Mathieu Peybernes.
The visitors then doubled their lead when Gilles Sunu capped off a fine counter-attack by powering a fizzing shot past Bastia goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.
Evian moved out of the danger zone as they claimed their third straight win with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Metz at the Parc des Sports on Saturday night.
Following an uneventful first half, Cheick Doukoure put through his own net to hand the hosts the lead after the break before Daniel Wass doubled their advantage with a penalty and Gianni Bruno completed the scoring with 10 minutes to go.
Nice claimed a dramatic equaliser right at the death to salvage a 1-1 draw from their home clash with Montpellier at the Allianz Riviera.
Montpellier had looked on course for their fifth win of the season when Hilton put them ahead in the 72nd minute, but there was to be a late twist in the tale as Nice levelled things up four minutes into stoppage time.
Lloyd Palun was the home side's hero, heading the ball home during a goalmouth scramble that saw all 22 players in the Montpellier area.
Paul-Georges Ntep scored twice as Rennes defeated Lens 2-0.
