ARSENAL TO FINALISE DEAL OF LOIC REMY

Arsenal officials have held a meeting with Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy to finalise a deal, according to Football Direct News.

The 27-year-old French international has had an excellent season on-loan at Premier League side Newcastle side this season, but is to return to QPR at the end of the season.

Remy has amassed 13 goals in 25 Premier League games for the Magpies, and his impressive form has caught the eye of a number of top-flight clubs.

It is all but certain that Loic Remy is to be offloaded from Loftus Road this summer, joining the likes of Adel Taarabt and Shaun Wright-Phillips out of the exit door.

QPR’s wage bill is higher than Borussia Dortmund, so owner Tony Fernandes is eager to reduce the astronomical figure.

Remy is worth in the region of £12 million, and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted he is a fan of the Frenchman and is keen to table a bid before the World Cup.
