NASRI, ARSENAL REBEL SPEAKS ABOUT ARSENAL

Manchester City playmaker Samir Nasri has revealed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is his ‘football father’. The 26-year old believes that the French manager does not deserve the bad criticism hurled at him for not winning a trophy for over 9 years, and wants his former boss to break the title drought and win the FA Cup this season.
Nasri spent 3 years at Arsenal before moving to the Etihad, and when asked about his relationship with Wenger, the midfielder said, “Arsene is my football father. I might have a problem with Arsenal fans because of the way they treat me but I just want Arsene to win a trophy because he doesn’t deserve everything that has been said about him.”
The French international was at his best during his time Arsenal, and after enduring a tough couple of years under former boss Roberto Mancini, Nasri feels like he is in a good space under current boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is described by Nasri as the ‘brother of Wenger’ due to the similar calm temperament of the two managers.
Nasri also called Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho’s ‘specialist in failure’ comments about Wenger as disrespectful, and reiterated that he has a very sound relationship with the 64-year old although his relations with the Arsenal fans have obviously strained since his move to the Etihad in 2012.
