Munich’s fight against the English
The fight for Loic Remy’s signature has turned global, after Bayern Munich made up their minds to have a go at signing the Frenchman. So far Remy’s suitors comprised strictly of English teams, Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur, reports the Daily Mirror. It is also reported that Munich are willing to take a step forward by preparing a bid of around 15 million pounds for the QPR loanee.
.Reus gives United hope
Borussia Dortmund’s intention of providing Marco Reus with a new contract had been swept aside by the German winger, after the 24 year adamantly refused to reveal any information regarding such an offer, reports the Daily Express. Reus was quoted as having said, “I'm not saying anything about my contract. But I do have the time to emphasise how good I feel at Dortmund.”

Courtois’ successor revealed
Atletico Madrid have identified Newcastle United’s custodian Tim Krul as the ideal replacement for Thibaut Courtois, and are looking to make an offer in the upcoming summer window, reports TalkSport. With Courtois’ future at Madrid yet to be decided, Diego Simeone has recognized Krul’s wish of playing in the Champions League as an important aspect of the probable deal. A fee of around 10 million pounds is expected to test the Magpies’ resolve in holding on to the Dutch international.
Cavani to choose Red over Blues
Despite being heavily linked with Chelsea and Manchester City, Edinson Cavani has a soft spot for Manchester United, and the Metro reveals that the 27 year old is more than willing to don the colours of the Red Devils, come the next season. Rumours have emerged that the former Napoli man has identified himself as the right man to lead United’s strikeforce for the years to come, and the Red Devils’ continued interest in the Uruguayan has managed to turn his head a bit. However, Paris St. Germain would not let Cavani go cheap, and an offer north of 60 million pounds is reportedly expected.
Besiktas for Manchester City outcast
Turkish club, Besiktas, have revealed that Joleon Lescott might be a new addition to the club’s roster in summer, and are taking all the necessary steps in attracting the former Everton man, reports the Daily Star. Kara Kartallar’s board member, Erdal Torunogulları, has been quoted as having said, “We have been interested in Lescott since last season and are currently in talks with him. We have not agreed anything yet with Lescott, he has not signed for us.” Lescott's contract with City expires at the end of this season, which gives him the right to discuss a free transfer move with other clubs.
Terry’s blues
The Blues skipper John Terry has revealed his wish of ending his career at Stamford Bridge, and is hoping to sign a contract extension, before the end of the season, reports Sky Sports. On being questioned about the contract situation, the 33 year old replied, “Clearly, I want to stay for the rest of my footballing days. At the minute we're in talks and it's ongoing. I'm hoping it gets done. It's down to the club. They know I want to stay.”
Kagawa still welcome, says Hummels
The Daily Express reports that Borussia Dortmund continue to be nostalgic about the glorious days that Shinji Kagawa spent at the German club, and Der BVB would have no second thoughts if the Japanese international decides to move back to the Westfalenstadion in the future. When inquired about the possibility of reuniting with the playmaker, Mats Hummels said, “We would take him with open arms, of course. Having an offensive line with [Marco] Reus, [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan and Kagawa would certainly be stylish.”
Tottenham reignites Boer interest
After losing out on their primary target, Louis Van Gaal, to Manchester United, Tottenham have decided to make a fresh inquiry regarding the availability of Ajax manager Frank de Boer, reports the Daily Mirror. The 43 year old has impressed pundits with his managerial skills and tactical acumen, after having guided the Dutch club to their fourth consecutive Eredivisie title this season.
Five way battle for the Serb
Manchester City’s Aleksander Kolarov has found himself in the midst of a tug-of-war, the participants being, Roma, the Milan clubs, the Grand Old Lady of Turin, Juventus, and the Principality club, Monaco, reveals the Daily Mail. Kolarov, who had constantly found himself on the bench, as an understudy to Gael Clichy, has been reportedly made a top-priority target by Rudi Garcia, and the Rome-based club is keen to add him to their squad during the summer break.
Chelsea, my guide, says Lukaku
Romelu Lukaku has decided to leave his future at the hands of Chelsea, and the Belgian will take whatever route the West London club thinks is best for him, reports the Metro. The 20 year old said, “We’ll see at the end of the season. I’m focusing on my performances at Everton. I still have a contract until 2016 at Chelsea and I think they’re happy about the way I’m developing. They have the last word, so we shall see what’s happening next.” Tottenham and Everton are reportedly looking at his situation with interest, and might make a move for him in the summer.
So is mine, echoes Mourinho
Jose Mourinho has echoed Lukaku’s words, by stating that he will be at Stamford Bridge, as long as the club wants him, and if the West Londoners feel that the Portuguese is desired till the end of his managerial career, he will not have any second thoughts about that prospect, reports the Daily Express. By expressing his life-long commitment to the Blues, the former Real Madrid boss said, "My future is Chelsea and Chelsea decides when it's time to stop our relationship. It's Chelsea that decides not me. I want to stay forever. When Chelsea decides it's time to stop then it's time for me to think about my future.”
