LIVERPOOL OFFER RODGERS 4 YEARS DEAL

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has agreed a new four-year deal with the Merseyside club, according to reports.
Rodgers’ current deal still has a year left to run but the Liverpool hierarchy have been keen to tie the northern Irishman down to a long-term contract to fend off interest from other clubs and reward him for a fantastic season.
Liverpool may look set to miss out on the Premier League crown after last night’s 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace, but nevertheless it will be the Reds’ highest finish since 2008-09, since which time they’ve not even managed Champions League qualification.
Rumours have linked Barcelona with a move for the former Swansea boss, but Liverpool appear to have moved quickly to dispel any summer speculation surrounding their manager.
